Still having fun... fishing yesterday, ziplines tomorrow!

There are a lot of pictures of our fishing trip on this post...  some may seem boring to those who look at our blog, but we are missing our kids, and sharing this experience with them. So, we wanted to send lots of pictures for them to look at! As you all know, Dane is quite the fisherman, so he appreciates things like bait!

All of the fishing boats come up to these men who catch and sell live bait. Here they are scooping out our live bait for the day.

Of course, there have to be pictures of the beautiful sunrise!
 and the famous rock/arch.
Clint quickly hooked the first fish of the day...  it was called a chullo or chulla or something like that! Essentially, it's a white meat tuna and it was delicious!
and it has big teeth, as Pedro (our Captain) is pointing out!
Then, I caught a bonito. As I was reeling it in, we saw a seal surface and started chasing my fish in...  we barely got it into the boat before the seal snagged it! (that's why it is bleeding so bad)
Then we had a long dry spell; Clint caught one small fish, and then he landed this trigger fish!  It also turned out to be delicious as ceviche! :)
Here are the two kinds of live bait that we used.  Can you believe the trigger fish (above) ate the fish that Clint is holding in his left hand? Crazy!
 Close up of the needlefish!

This is the resident sea lion.  He has been known to steal fish from fisherman who are posing on the dock.
But, he took this leftover bait very gently from my hand!
This guy was begging as well.  Pedro referred to them as "his friends", and feeds them his leftover bait each day.
It was a fun day on the water!

This was a roosterfish that was caught by another fisherman!
