A great visit with the Baums!

Jeremy, Kristi, Hannah, and Katie came and visited us a couple weeks ago.

I don't have nearly enough pictures to share...  the visit was amazing and it was so good to see their family!

The kids got along well and had so much fun playing.  Kimber and Katie are helping me make popcorn in this picture!

 Jeremy and Clint had a great time catching up, telling stories, and planning future fun!  I just loved this series of pictures!  I think Clint was in the middle of a good story! :)  

Falling Behind... :)

In between the last post and now, we have had some fun, I traveled to Anniston, Alabama for work, and the Baum family came and visited!  Whew!  Crazy, fun, busy!
Here are some pictures of our fun trip to the Gates!  I might even say it's one of my new favorite fishing places.  Great fishing (the catching was pretty awesome too!), beautiful views, and the weather was fantastic!

I've said it once, and I will say it again...  little man is quite the fisherman and outfished all of us! (I'm actually not exaggerating... he literally caught more fish than any of us, and was doing it on his own, with whatever rod he picked up!)  

 He was landing them too!  Nice, big trout!

First day of bird season opens with a bang!!! (so to speak!)

September 1st is one of our favorite days of the year.  Bird season opens, the weather is fantastic and our favorite time of year is upon us.  Doesn't get much better than this!!!! I have such fond memories of years past, and this year did not disappoint!

Today we got to get out and chase snipe!  It was a great time!
