Going offline for a while!
Well, today is the day that we are sending in our computer to get it fixed. It's also a very busy week, we close on the house that we are buying on Friday, then we will paint and start moving some stuff over the weekend, and Monday upland bird season opens! Holy cow! We will make sure to put some on some updates as soon as we get the computer back from Dell! Take care everyone!

Camping at Sawmill Flats
We had a great time camping and were able to get two good loads of wood. We cut the first one and then Clint and I took it back to the cabin and dropped it off. Then we got up this morning and filled the trailer again for our friend, so we definitely got some good work done!
Dane was really great. The last time we went camping (with Pat and Linda) he had a really nasty cold so everything was a little harder and he was a little fussier than usual. This time he was feeling good and was just a champ. Tent camping with him is a little more challenging. At the cabin, there are places to put him down where he can play and we don't have to worry so much about bugs and the sun. It's also warm enough at the cabin that I can make him his own bed to sleep in. In the tent, he and I share a mummy bag. Kind of a tight fit but we make it work!
Here we are with Dane in the "hippy pack". We love it, he will just sit there so happy and content watching the world go by! (thanks again Courtney!)
The scenery up there is truly amazing. Here is another picture of our little tent. It was pretty cool to lay there and listen to the little creek!
This picture is a little fuzzy, but here is my awesome hubby helping out with the dishes!

For Lisa!
My mom is in Hawaii right now visiting Erik, Lisa, Evan, Owen, and Erica!
We miss her, but she is having a wonderful time. Sounds like she got a little too much sun... Not hard to do when you are playing in the surf. Well, she called and they had a couple requests for pictures they wanted me to post... So, here ya go!!
We are headed out camping/woodcutting tomorrow morning... I'll probably post some pictures after the weekend and then send our computer off... We hope everyone has a great weekend!

Clint's green thumb
Well, we all have certain skills and my hubby is quite the gardener. Between the squash, zucchini, and tomatoes there isn't a whole lot of room left. As you can see the cherry tomato plant is about 7 feet tall, and the squash and zucchini plants are massive.
We also had rhubarb, 3 different kinds of onions, beans, and kohlrabi. The cucumbers and cantaloupe were taken over and really didn't have a chance...
Sometimes, I refer to it as "our garden". But, I use that term loosely since really all I do is eat things from it!!!
Our computer is sick...
Well, our computer has been acting funny for a while now. I finally took the time and called Dell. It seems that it it more than my computer skill level can handle, so I have to send it in when I get the box they are sending out. The good news is that it doesn't cost a penny, and we should have it back within 2 weeks. It is a little tempermental right now, but I'm trying to get a couple posts done before I send it away...
The first one I wanted to post was the video below... (Porter, does that remind you of anyone?) Dane's little legs have finally gotten long enough to really enjoy the bouncy part of his jumparoo. I'm sure everyone's babies all did the same thing, but it's so stinkin' funny when they get it going.
Well, I'm going to publish this and I will do more later if my computer cooperates!!!

Camping with Pat and Linda
We had such an incredible time camping out with Pat and Linda. They are such amazing people and it has been a long time since I've got to spend time with them. I'm sure everyone saw the video below of Dane giggling like crazy in the tent! He is such a ham!
The first day we got up there was great. We had a wonderful time visiting and catching up. Pat and I went for a ride and Linda, Clint and Dane hung out at camp. Dane really took a liking to Linda and they spent a lot of time "visiting"!
Dane's first ride!!! With Linda's assistance!
Here is our little tent... It seemed like a just fine tent until the Forest Service guy told us there was a sow and two cubs hanging out in the area... Then I was wishing for something a little more substantial!
Clint and Dane saying "good morning" to the horses.
Starting the day with good friends, good weather, good fire and great scenery...
Clint was so excited and couldn't wait to go for a ride! (okay, maybe not SO excited, but he was such a good sport and had a good time when we went!) Here he and Pat are out catching the horses and solving all the worlds problems!
Pat and Linda were very generous and offered to watch Dane so Clint and I could go for a little ride together. We took them up on the offer and had a great time!
The horses haven't been around babies much, so while I was getting this picture, Slip just couldn't resist taking the opportunity to smell Dane!

Going camping!
Tomorrow morning we are headed up to the Rockies to meet some friends for a little camping trip. I tried to post a funny video of Dane, but I'm not having any luck, so I'll come back to that later when I have more time! Here are a few pictures of the little man to tide everyone over in the meantime!!!
Bones and Dane hanging out.

This is what Dane thinks about hearing protection!

Brock and Clint went fishing!

We can't believe it's harvest time!
It's hard to believe that the end of the summer is near... Of course fall is probably our favorite time of the year so we aren't complaining! But, the wheat is already being harvested. On our way back from fishing today we decided to take a picture of the combine's working! It's kind of cool to watch, they move right along!
For those of you who haven't seen them, we've got big white pelicans here in Montana! Here is one flying up the river!
...and of course there is Dane! He woke up from a nap in the Kelty, I fed him and then he decided to hang out with Dad for a few.
